Self Care September – Habit 2 – Dry Brushing!

I have been trying to make this a habit FOR MONTHS. It all started back in June when I watched Tati on YouTube’s 2017 skincare favorites video. Yes, 6 months late. Better late than never.

She mentioned that dry brushing was one of her favorite things about her skincare routine and I immediately went out (to Amazon) and bought a brush. And watched every dry brushing video I could find on YouTube.

Even though the whole process only takes about 5 – 10 minutes, I could NOT allow for that extra time in the morning. So I started taking showers at night! It worked out anyways, because in the NYC summer heat it was nice to be clean before bed. That became my routine. For like 5 days.

I traveled a lot in June. Then in July I started working out in the morning, which made showering in the evening seem redundant. Then in August it was back to traveling.

I’m ready to bring back my dry brush habit! In addition to making my skin feel SUPER soft, it has other benefits as well such as removing chemicals from your skin and helping with cellulite.
